Welcome to 2022! 🥂Cheers to the 1st Blog and Vlog of the new year. Surprise surprise Covid is still very much alive and life is also still very much happening. My friends recently got engaged and decided to live & let live by getting married in Mexico. We stayed 8 days and 7 nights at the beautiful Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres All-Inclusive resort. This was our 1st international stay so naturally, we wanted to go BIG! We decided to upgrade our room to a Plunge Pool Suite. It’s a two-story suite with a balcony and a second-floor plunge pool. It comes with a fully loaded stocked bar, a liquor of your choosing, and your very own butler.
As you can imagine, before the trip there was tons of information given to us by our travel agent. One of the things that stood out the most was customs and terminal 4 upon arriving in Mexico. Here’s a tip, book an earlier flight it goes by much quicker in the AM. Once you’re finally in Mexico traveling to the hotel was not so bad. With views of local living and amazing conversation from the driver, the hour-long drive from the airport to the hotel isn’t so bad. Once arrived we were greeted with lots of staff and our travel agent Cynthia. The staff unloaded and desensitized our bags and greeted us with moist towelettes. When entering the main lobby you were scanned by a large body temperature scanner. We then were greeted with an amazing non -alcoholic punch and were escorted to the club lounge for check-in. Once checked in instead of receiving room key cards, we received wristbands. This was one of my personal favorite features because I’ve been known to lose a key or two and waiting in line to get a new key made is no fun. Now that we are all checked we were introduced to our butler ( Romero ) who gave us an amazing tour of the property while escorting us to our rooms. The property is amazing, simply gorgeous. Wedding / Vacation Planning made easy! This entire wedding and vacation would not have run as smoothly as it did if it were not for the most amazing travel agent I’ve ever been blessed to know Cynthia Pierce. She goes over and beyond the call of duty, is very professional, and gets things done. Super knowledgeable about the island, the property, and everything they had to offer. She’s very approachable and always a phone/text call away. I highly recommend her for any future travel/wedding plans. If I had to rate her amazing services as well as her ability to go over and beyond the call of duty it definitely would be a 10 out of 10 ⭐️
