Our baby moon adventure to Costa Mujeres, Cancun, Mexico, staying at the stunning Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres on the Elegance Club (adult-only) side, was nothing short of magical. In this first part, I’ll share our journey to paradise, starting with our day at the airport and our luxurious travel experience.
The Journey to the Airport
Our trip started with a smooth ride to the airport, filled with anticipation for a relaxing getaway. Since I’m five months pregnant, comfort and convenience were top priorities. We decided to splurge on a United lounge day pass, which turned out to be one of the best decisions we made.
The United lounge was spacious and uncrowded, providing a haven of luxury seating, free food, drinks, and breakfast—everything we could ask for before our flight. Being able to relax, eat as much as I wanted (which, let’s be honest, is a lot right now!), and enjoy some quiet time was such a treat, especially with my growing belly in tow. It truly felt like the ultimate pampering moment before our journey.
First-Class Comforts
When it was time to board, we settled into our first-class seats, which were a dream come true. The extra space was a game-changer, especially since my bump is now taking up room for two! The plush seats, ample legroom, and attentive service made the flight experience incredibly comfortable. We kicked back, relaxed, and enjoyed the scenic views on our way to Cancun.
Arriving in Cancun
Touching down in Cancun, my husband, a few friends, and I were all set to dive into the vibrant culture and stunning landscapes of Mexico. We picked up our car and soaked in the beautiful views during the drive to our resort. The anticipation built with every mile as we inched closer to our luxurious escape.

Upon arrival at Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres, we were immediately greeted with a warm welcome that set the tone for our stay. From the refreshing glasses of fresh juice to the cool towels and luggage service, every detail was meticulously handled. The resort’s stunning open-air lobby offered a breathtaking ocean view right from the entrance—talk about first impressions!
Exclusive Elegance Club Check-In
One of the perks of staying on the Elegance Club side is the private check-in experience, which felt like our own VIP moment. The space was expansive, luxurious, and filled with exclusive amenities. While we waited for our room, we enjoyed private dining, spacious seating, and the option to freshen up in their changing stations and showers. It was the perfect introduction to the resort’s top-notch hospitality.
Everything about our arrival was a perfect 10/10, from the seamless service to the luxurious touches. The Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres exceeded all expectations, and we couldn’t wait to explore more.
