A New Year’s Morning at Sea: Waking up to the crisp New Year’s Day air, we savored a delightful breakfast at the Wayfinder buffet, basking in ocean views and relishing the tranquility of the ship’s journey. As the boys pursued their interests, my husband and I geared up for a day filled with diverse activities.
Exploring Art & Shipboard Thrills: Venturing into uncharted territory, we embarked on our maiden art auction, hoping to find the perfect piece for our new home. Despite the beauty of a coveted artwork, the bidding soared beyond our reach. Still, the experience itself was invaluable, and I’ll share glimpses of the stunning art that caught my eye.
Bingo Battles & Aquatic Serenity: Engaging in a ship-wide bingo game stirred emotions as we played rounds, coming tantalizingly close to a win! Though we narrowly missed securing the grand prize, the thrill of the game was an unforgettable experience. Seeking solace, a serene Jacuzzi dip followed by a calming stroll on the top deck provided much-needed relaxation.
Elegant Dining & Vibrant Celebrations: The pinnacle of the evening was the Captain’s Dinner, a gastronomic delight featuring succulent crabcakes, a tantalizing 16-ounce bone-in ribeye, and a decadent dessert of chocolate and red velvet cake. Our senses reeled from the exquisite flavors, leaving us satiated and content.
Silent Night Revelry & Ocean Serenade: A leisurely evening stroll led us to the 14th level of the ship, where a silent night party awaited! With headphones on, the DJ’s beats beckoned, and we danced under the starry sky overlooking the mesmerizing expanse of the sea.
